Easter Doughnuts

Sunshine had an Easter party today so we decided to make Easter Doughnuts.
I know it sounds scary but it is really simple.
Supplies: Canned Biscuits, Oil, Powdered Sugar, Sprinkles, Paper Towels, Food Coloring, Cooling Rack, Little Milk, Sugar and a Water Bottle Cap.
You need to set up a Hole making station
Cut away making holes in the biscuits.
Looking good Now on to the frying station!
A wooden dowel or skewer works well for flipping and removing from the oil.
Fry till golden brown.
I use a slotted spoon for the holes.
YUMMY!!  Don't they look good!
colored sugar for the holes.  Just use regular sugar and add a couple drops of your choice of food coloring and mix!  It is that easy.
I use a bag and toss to coat.
Then for the glaze on the doughnuts.
I mix Powdered sugar a teaspoon of milk and food coloring.
Dip, Swirl, and Flip over to the wire cooling rack.
I do this in batches of about 4-5 doughnuts then sprinkle with sprinkles.
Sprinkle while still wet so they stick.
This is why you have paper towels under the cooling rack!

Woo Hoo!  Doughnuts Done!!!

Printable Easter Water Bottle Labels

For Sunshine's school Easter party I am making water labels.
I wanted to have something cute with a scripture reference
I found this great clip art at
Lord Of Design
Then added the Happy Easter and John 11:25-26
Just cut them out leaving one end with the white part of the paper left.
Then cut the label off the water bottle.
Peel Label off.
There should be some sticky left.
Place the label on.  The stick from the old label will keep it in place.
Add Glue to white part of label then
Wrap around and then you are done.

This is what they look like on the bottles.

Click on the image below to see full size.  You should then be able to print.

Printable Birthday Gift Card Holders

* Please note that for some reason when printing a blank page is printed first.  I don't know why this is happening.

I have been playing on the computer again and made some Birthday Gift Card Holders.  My favorite one is the Paris one.  Super Cute!

Just Click on the ones you like and print them out (I prefer Cardstock), cut them out and glue together.

There is a tutorial HERE
